Site Management Mission Statement
As the Site Manager, my mission is to provide a physically secure, nurturing, and high-quality environment that mirrors the school’s "One Pupil, One Plan" philosophy.
I recognize that for our pupils, the physical state of their school is the first signal of safety and worth. By maintaining a site that is not only compliant and safe but also aesthetically cared for, I contribute to the trauma-informed foundation necessary for our students to thrive.
At the heart of my day to day work, I keep in mind a commitment to relational practice for the students helping to recognise when their needs are not being met. I maintain a strong commitment to working together with the rest of the admin and teaching staff to help foster a sense of togetherness and team work.
My commitment to excellence involves:
• Safety & Compliance: Ensuring 100% adherence to Health and Safety standards so that the physical environment never becomes a source of stress for pupils or staff.
• Physical Stewardship: Meticulously maintaining the building and grounds to ensure they look "nice" and feel respected, reinforcing the value we place on every individual who enters.
• Professional Collaboration: Managing contractors with a focus on minimal disruption and high standards, ensuring external works align with our school’s calm atmosphere.
• Team Leadership: I am dedicated to mentoring and developing my future team member, instilling in them the same pride of ownership and trauma-sensitive approach to site care.
Through proactive maintenance and a "pupil-first" mindset, I ensure the building remains a reliable, beautiful constant in our all student’s lives.
